MatchMaking allows data to be replicated and transferred anywhere in the world 10-30 times faster than traditional methods, speeds only possible since the advent of cloud computing. The algorithm computes the most efficient way to replicate data between sites, only transferring new data in a set rather than the entire data set.
Issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office on March 26, 2013, the second patent is No. 8,407,315 and titled "Method for horizontal scale delta encoding."
