Cinnaminson, New Jersey, May 1, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Shelby Mechanical, Inc. one of the mid Atlantic regions fastest growing (and safest) mechanical contracting firms has completed the expansion of its piping division with the hiring of Wayne Hoffmann.  Hoffmann, an industry veteran of 33 years will assume the post of Manager of Shelby's piping division.

This expansion makes Shelby a full service mechanical contracting solution for their growing base of clients, who range in size from small independent manufacturers to Fortune 100 power utilities and refinery companies.  Shelby's perfect safety record results in an insurmountable combination that is incredibly important to its client/partners.

Hoffmann has overseen work in virtually every heavy industry segment including power generation, refinery, manufacturing, pulp and paper and the chemical industry.  Hoffmann's background includes previous experience overseeing projects of incredible complexity and significant size.  Projects include a dock improvement project which exceeded 90,000 man hours and which implemented the latest state of the art technology to allow for faster offloading of oil tankers significantly increasing the financial metrics of the facility and optimizing safety.
