Frankfurt / Main, 16. May 2013 - The German parliament Deutscher Bundestag
decided in its 240th session today to add a guarantee of the federal
republic for all obligations of Rentenbank to the law of
Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank.

Subject to completion of the legislative procedure the guarantee will come
into effect on January 1st, 2014.

The International Securities Identification Numbers (ISINs) of securities
issued by Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank which are admitted to trading on a
domestic organized market or for which such admission has been applied for,
