IPC The Hospitalist Company Acquires Acute Care Practice in Florida


NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif., May 30, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- IPC The Hospitalist Company, Inc. (Nasdaq:IPCM), a leading national hospitalist physician group practice company, announced today that it has acquired select operations from Harbor Hospitalists, LLC. Headquartered in Port Charlotte, Florida, the acquisition of this acute care hospitalist practice represents a further expansion for IPC on the west coast of Florida, where the Company already has an established presence.
