ALMA MEDIA'S REGIONAL NEWSPAPERS IN NORTHERN FINLAND TO BE PRINTED AT KALEVA
PRINTING HOUSE

Kaleva's new printing house in Oulu has been selected as the printing location
for Alma Media's regional newspapers Lapin Kansa and Pohjolan Sanomat. The new
printing location will enable better transport and distribution efficiency of
the regional newspapers and ensure their continued early morning deliveries.

The newspapers will be printed at the new printing house from March-April 2014
onwards. The change in printing location has no effect on the service provided
to readers.

- We have developed our operations with the aim of ensuring the high-quality
early morning delivery of newspapers even in the North. By printing Lapin Kansa
and Pohjolan Sanomat in northern Finland we can continue their early morning
deliveries to customers. Using a printing house located in Oulu facilitates more
effective coordination of transport and delivery, says Helvi Liukkaala, Managing
Director of Alma Media's print and delivery company, Alma Manu Oy.

In April 2013, Alma Manu announced it will shut down its Rovaniemi printing
facility by March next year. The decision to close the Rovaniemi printing
facility was made due to the company's general objective of improving the
efficiency of printing operations and ensuring its future competitiveness and
vitality.

In 2012, Alma Manu employed a total of 1,090 people in Pirkanmaa, Satakunta and
Lapland. Of these, approximately 930 were newspaper delivery employees.
