Likeable Local Launches First Ever Social Media Marketing Platform for Dry Cleaners

New York, NY, June 20, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today, Likeable Local launched the first ever social media platform for dry cleaners, Likeable Dry Cleaners, at the Clean Show in New Orleans. The Clean Show is the leading trade show for the dry cleaning, laundry and textile service industries.

Likeable Dry Cleaners is a software that makes social media easy and effective. Likeable Dry Cleaners develops and distributes entertaining and educational content for Facebook and Twitter, engages future and current customers, targets friends of customers through social advertising and uses Facebook applications to drive leads. Likeable Dry Cleaners also has an analytics suite to give small businesses valuable feedback about their social media activity.

Likeable Dry Cleaners is entering its beta stage with 20 customers. This follows the successful launch of Likeable Dentists, a social media platform for dentists created by Likeable Local CEO and founder, Dave Kerpen.

"Dry cleaners, like all small businesses, are looking to grow their business through social media," says Kerpen. "Likeable Dry Cleaners is the easy and effective way to gain customers using the best strategies and tactics in the market."

Kerpen leads the sales and marketing team out of New York City. Kerpen previously co-founded and served as CEO for Likeable Media, a twice-ranked Inc 500 social media marketing agency, and is the New York Times best-selling author of Likeable Social Media and Likeable Business.

"The launch of Likeable Dry Cleaners marks the next step in connecting with small businesses on a completely different and higher level," said Likeable Local CTO, Hugh Morgenbesser. Morgenbesser leads the Likeable product team in Portland, Maine.

Likeable Dry Cleaners partnered with Kreussler Inc. Kreussler is a 100 year-old, family owned, chemical company from Germany specializing in commercial laundry, wet cleaning and dry cleaning.
