ChoreMonster Completes 1,000,000 Chores as the Best Home Management App for Families

CINCINNATI, June 25, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- It's no secret that chores can be a big source of tension between parents and children, but a Web/mobile app called ChoreMonster (http://www.choremonster.com) actually makes chores fun by turning them into a game.   ChoreMonster has just announced that ONE MILLION chores have been completed through the app. That's a lot of clean homes and happy parents!

With ChoreMonster, parents assign chores to their kids and set a number of points that will be earned when a specific chore is completed. They also create real-life rewards (ice cream, a new video game, a trip to the zoo, etc.) that can be redeemed by the children with the points that they've earned. Kids have access to their own dashboard that enables them to manage their chores and keep track of their points. As they complete chores, children will also collect interactive monsters that they can play with and learn from. The basic app is free to use. A premium version is available for $4.99 per month per household and offers access to additional monsters and other features.

ChoreMonster was founded by two Cincinnati digital pros, Chris Bergman and Paul Armstrong, and is a graduate of The Brandery, one of the nation's top startup accelerators.
