Taiwan PV Makers Set to Embrace Business Opportunity in the American Solar Market

TAIPEI, Taiwan, July 8, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Taiwan's Green Trade Project Office is bringing a delegation of exhibitors to participate in the Intersolar North America 2013 trade show in San Francisco, USA, aiming to help Taiwan's Photovoltaic (PV) makers seize the great opportunity for business in the US market.

A "Taiwan Pavilion" (Booth No. 7345) is set up by the Green Trade Project Office for delegation members to showcase a variety of PV cells and modules, components and applications, and to demonstrate Taiwanese manufacturers' continued efforts in promoting a greener lifestyle. Taiwan has a comprehensive supply chain for the PV industry, and is the main global provider of solar cells. With its ample experience in system establishment and product logistics, Taiwan can be also the PV service provider in the near future.

Li-Yen Ma, Division Chief of the Integrated Marketing Division at the Green Trade Project Office, said, 'The U.S. is one of the fast-growing solar energy markets in the world, thanks in part to the generous federal tax benefits, loans and grants to support solar technology development and deployment, especially U.S. President Barack Obama's energy policy. Recently, President Obama has put solar and other renewables in the spotlight as part of a plan to reduce the nation's carbon emissions, and called for doubling the current level of renewables by 2020. Towards huge business opportunities in America's solar market, we expect high-quality PV-related products which are made in Taiwan could join in this supply chain, and provide innovative, clean and energy-efficient solutions for the environmental protection and a better tomorrow.

The "Taiwan Pavilion" is intended to serve as a platform where buyers and visitors around the world may experience Taiwan's innovative products first-hand, while Taiwan's exhibitors could also enjoy the opportunity of better understanding the local market and business potential.'

Exhibitors at the 'Taiwan Pavilion' include Neo Solar Power (NSP), the largest solar cell producer in Taiwan, Solartech Energy Corp, one of the pioneers in the solar PV industry and the first solar company listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, as well as Euflex Technology Corp, Solartron Incorporated, DS Technology, Taicrystal International Technology Co., Hanbell Precise Machinery Co., Hong Tai Electric Industrial Co., and E-ton Solar Tech. The diversity of products exhibited at the "Taiwan Pavilion" indicates Taiwan companies' strong capability in offering quality green products.

Intersolar North America 2013 is scheduled to be held on July 9-11 in San Francisco's Moscone Center. The 'Taiwan Pavilion' is located at Booth 7345. Welcome to visit our booth. Taiwan could be your best partner. Choose Taiwan solar product could green your life and light your future.
