Girl Scouts Council of Greater NY Increases Productivity With Transbeam Hosted PBX

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jul 17, 2013) - Transbeam, a leading national integrated communications provider, announces that it is providing the Girl Scouts Council of Greater New York with its Internet Access and Hosted PBX solutions. When The Girl Scouts Council needed to upgrade their Internet access and dated phone systems, Transbeam was on hand to assist.

With the help of Transbeam, The Girl Scouts Council was able to install the latest technology to field the inbound calls received during their busiest time of their year; also known as "cookie time." The Girl Scouts of Greater NY employees were trained on Transbeam's Hosted PBX remote capabilities, allowing employees and volunteers to use the system remotely, placing and receiving calls anywhere with a working Internet connection.

Transbeam provides a customized Hosted PBX, unified messaging, data and Internet access utilizing Transbeam's advanced Metro Ethernet network for the Girl Scouts Council. Prior to working with Transbeam, the Girl Scouts Council dealt with multiple performance and connectivity issues and received limited IT provider support.

"We are now more efficient than ever and have built-in redundancy because of our new communications and Internet system provided by Transbeam," states David Hernandez, Director of Council Operations for the Girl Scouts Council of Greater NY. "We have been able to reduce costs and increase reliability, and our team is able to quickly communicate with each other regardless of their location. Additionally, we can use a host of new productivity features and remote management capability offered in Transbeam's Hosted PBX solution."

"Transbeam looks forward to our partnership with the Girl Scouts Council," states Peter Karoczkai, SVP, Sales and Marketing of Transbeam. "Our Hosted PBX services are engineered specifically for organizations like the Girl Scouts Council to streamline their daily operations. Our main priority is serving as a partner to our clients and to be someone they can rely on as an expert in the telecom arena."

Transbeam's training delivery provides seamless user adoption, which enabled the Girl Scouts Council of Greater NY to maximize the benefits of the new environment and increase collaboration throughout the entire organization.
