MorrisAnderson Appoints New Director and Associate Director


CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Jul 18, 2013) - MorrisAnderson, a leading financial and operational advisory firm, announced today that David Interdonato, 32, has joined the firm to serve as director and Mark Briden, 27, as associate director.

In their new roles, Interdonato and Briden will be responsible for providing a broad range of the firm's financial and operational advisory services, including performance improvement, turnarounds, workouts, litigation support and insolvency services and wind-downs for distressed and bankrupt companies.

Interdonato joins MorrisAnderson with more than a decade of experience providing detailed financial analysis and operational support to financially distressed companies and senior lenders. He specializes in restructuring and turnaround services, interim management, buy/sell side financial advisory, due diligence and forensic accounting. He has been involved in major engagements for organizations in the airline, energy, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, telecommunications and transportation industries throughout his career.

Prior to joining MorrisAnderson, Interdonato held assurance, restructuring and business advisory positions at Navigant Capital Advisors, Huron Consulting Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Ohio, Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and holds a Certificate in Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV). Interdonato holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Buffalo, a Masters of Accounting from Ohio State and a MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School Of Business.

Briden joins MorrisAnderson with extensive experience in sell side financial advisory, due diligence, accounting information systems (AIS) implementation and risk assessment. He also has experience in business operational analyses and valuations, management consulting and new business development.

Prior to joining MorrisAnderson, Briden co-owned an online retail site, which he grew to $16 million in revenue. Following that, Briden held senior accounting positions with BrookWeiner, LLC, and Corbett, Duncan & Hubly, P.C. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois and holds bachelor's degrees of science in accountancy and business information systems from Illinois State University.
