ANDOVER, Mass., Aug. 14, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dynamics Research Corporation (Nasdaq:DRCO), a leading technology and management consulting company focused on driving performance, process, and results for government clients, today announced its wholly owned subsidiary, Kadix Systems LLC, has been awarded a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) II contract in Functional Category 2, Information Technology Program Support Services. DRC has been a provider of services under the management support services category of the predecessor EAGLE contract.
EAGLE II is a multiple award, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quality (ID/IQ) contract that serves as the department-wide platform for acquiring IT services with a 5-year base period of performance and a two year option period. Kadix Systems LLC, a DRC Company, was one of 11 awardees in Functional Category 2, Unrestricted Track.
Under the terms of the contact, DRC will compete to provide a full range of business and technical management services in support of department offices or programs including: IT planning, strategic planning, workforce planning, budget execution, performance management, enterprise architecture, data management, information sharing, information security, training, enterprise resource management, and program management office support.

Under the original EAGLE contract DRC provides enterprise architecture services, supports the annual implementation of the Department's Information Security Performance Plan, and supports the development and implementation of the Department's Information Sharing Segment Architecture in addition to a variety of other management and IT support services. Homeland security is a priority market for DRC representing 18 percent of total revenue in 2012.
