DAYTON, Ohio, Sept. 23, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company providing innovative engineering and technical solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that Team R3, which is composed of R3Strategic Support Group and MacB, has been awarded a $55 million contract by the United States Air Force (USAF) Air Mobility Command (AMC).
Under the terms of the contract, R3 will act as the prime, working in partnership with MacB to provide Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Support Services to all USAF Major Command (MAJCOM) with EOD responsibilities. In addition, Team R3 will support MAJCOM subordinate EOD flights worldwide. Services include training support; equipment maintenance, accountability and serviceability programs; EOD Information Management System (EODIMS), EOD Publications development and associated administrative and safety program support.
