MVP REIT Acquires Fully-Leased Medical and Professional Office Building for $6.4 Million


LAS VEGAS, Sept. 23, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MVP REIT Inc. announced today the acquisition of a 22,000-square-foot medical and professional office building in Las Vegas, Nev. The $6.4 million acquisition is part of a five-property, $48.6 million portfolio being acquired by MVP REIT. The acquisition closed on September 16, 2013.

Located at 8925 W. Post Road, the two-story building is fully occupied by a mix of medical and professional tenants. All tenants are subject to a triple net lease, under which the tenant is responsible for the majority of the costs associated with maintaining the building. The lease terms range from 4 years to 9 years.

MVP REIT financed the acquisition through the assumption of approximately $3.9 million in existing debt and the transfer of 280,095 shares of MVP REIT common stock to the seller at $8.775 per share.
