Austin, Oct. 30, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Circuit of The Americas (COTA) announced today that 17-year-old Texas native and reigning champion of NBC's "The Voice," Danielle Bradbery, will participate in the opening ceremonies for the 2013 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX by singing "The Star Spangled Banner" on Sunday, Nov. 17.   Bradbery will perform the U.S. national anthem approximately 15 minutes before the start of the penultimate race of the F1™ season.

During the Top 5 round of "The Voice," Bradbery sang renditions of the songs "Please Remember Me" and "Who I Am," which both landed on the iTunes Top 10 chart. At the finals, Bradbery sang the song "Born to Fly" after which she was announced as the winner of the show's fourth season. She landed the most singles to reach the Top 10 on iTunes during the season. Overall, Bradbery had more iTunes downloads than any other contestant in the show's history, and she is the youngest contestant to ever to win "The Voice."

The day after winning "The Voice," Bradbery was signed to a record deal with Big Machine Records, the label representing well-known artists Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts. Her debut single, "The Heart of Dixie," was released on July 16, 2013. Bradbery is currently working on her first studio album, self-titled Danielle Bradbery, which will be released in late November and will be embarking on her first official tour this fall with Brad Paisley and Chris Young.
