Columbus Chiropractor Announces New Impulse Adjustments

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 17, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Columbus chiropractor Dr. Manz announced that his practice, Midwest Chiropractic Center, is now offering precise spinal adjustments thanks to the practice's Impulse Adjustment tool. Impulse adjusting is a new technique developed to provide controlled treatments to specific problems areas, such as the lumbar spine or the cervical spine. There is no "popping" with these high-tech adjustments; this high-tech treatment relieves pain by addressing the underlying spinal misalignment. Years of research have gone into creating the Impulse Adjusting Instrument, which is not yet available at all chiropractic centers.

Midwest Chiropractic Center announced that the practice is now offering precise, computerized adjustments utilizing the Impulse Adjustment tool. This state-of-the-art adjustment technique is not available at all Ohio practices; Midwest Chiropractic Center is among those facilities that offer it.

"Impulse adjusting is a new technique developed to provide controlled treatments to specific parts of the spine that are misaligned," said Columbus chiropractor Dr. Manz. "We are excited to offer our patients access to this tool and encourage individuals to take advantage of the improved pain relief it provides."

The Impulse Adjustment tool is an FDA-registered device that is specifically designed to provide gentle spinal adjustments. The Impulse Adjusting Instrument is controlled by micro-computer circuitry housed within the device. This computer produces a controlled force, which Dr. Manz then uses to treat different areas of the body.

"Years of research have gone into the development of Impulse Adjustments," said Dr. Manz. "These adjustments are controlled by micro-computer circuitry; they are incredibly high-tech and provide precise pain relief."

According to Dr. Manz, chiropractic adjustments with the Adjusting Instrument feel like a light "tapping" sensation. Many patients report a calm, soothing feeling, along with improved mobility and less pain. Chiropractic adjustments with the Impulse Adjusting Instrument are designed to restore a body's balance and function by correcting the underlying cause for pain.

Impulse Adjusting is effective for managing chronic pain conditions by reducing inflammation and muscles spasms. Patients with back pain, neck pain, and other chronic pain conditions can benefit from this high-tech treatment technique.

"Millions of nerves travel throughout the body," said Dr. Manz. "When the spinal joints are out of alignment, they affect nerve health and impact the brain's ability to send and receive messages. Restoring proper alignment through spinal adjustments is essential to not only relieving pain, but also supporting whole body health."

Dr. Manz has over 24 years of experience caring for patients in the central Ohio region. Together with Dr. Bruney, Dr. Manz provides drug-free, non-invasive pain relief for patients throughout Ohio. Midwest Chiropractic Center is the 2011 winner for the Suburban News' 3rd Annual Reader's Choice Awards.
