Keller Rohrback L.L.P. Announces Investigation Regarding Data Breach at Neiman Marcus

SEATTLE, Jan. 17, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Attorney Advertising. http://www.krcomplexlit.com/" rel="nofollow">Keller Rohrback L.L.P. is currently investigating the reported data breach at Neiman Marcus (the "Company") that the Company reportedly failed to detect between July and December 2013. The breach involved all credit cards that were used at Neiman Marcus during that time period. The Company notified customers that hackers have used some customers' credit card data to make unapproved charges. However, Neiman Marcus has said that it believes that social security numbers and birthdates were not revealed.

Keller Rohrback recently filed a proposed class action complaint against Target Corporation for similar allegations (Sutton v. Target Corp., No. 14-00079 (U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington)). The Plaintiff in the Target litigation alleges that Defendant failed to secure and protect the personal information of Plaintiff and other class members' credit and debit card accounts, and other personal information, which enabled hackers to gain access to records of tens of millions of Target's customers.

If you or someone you know has had their credit card data compromised or used fraudulently as a result of the Neiman Marcus data breach, please contact attorneys Gretchen Cappio or Cari Laufenberg at (800) 776-6044 or via email at mailto:consumer@kellerrohrback.com?subject=Neiman%20Marcus%20Data%20Breach%20Investigation" rel="nofollow">consumer@kellerrohrback.com.
