Top Financial Executives Determine World's Best Hotels of 2013

Institutional Investor Polls More Than 200 Senior Financial Executives in Annual Survey


NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Feb 4, 2014) - Affluent business travelers are driving the recovery of the hospitality industry, and hotels are responding in kind. In its World's Best Hotels of 2013 survey, Institutional Investor polled 208 senior financial executives from 44 countries who spend an average of 40 nights per year in hotels to determine the top hotels across the globe.

The Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo takes the No. 1 spot on this year's ranking, followed by Palacio Duhau, Park Hyatt in Buenos Aires and St. Regis New York. Rounding out the top ten are Plaza Athénée Paris, Peninsula Chicago, Peninsula New York, Peninsula Hong Kong, Burj Al Arab, Four Seasons Boston and Four Seasons Prague.
