MacAulay-Brown, Inc. Appoints Industry Veteran to Drive Strategic Business Initiatives Throughout the Department of Defense, Special Operations and Homeland Security


DAYTON, Ohio, June 2, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services and product solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Special Operations Forces, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that Bill Callaghan has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development. Based out of Shalimar, Fla., Callaghan will report directly to Fred Norman, Senior Vice President and General Manager of MacB's Mission Systems Group.

Callaghan brings almost 40 years of military and industry expertise in business development, acquisition, program management and national security planning for Defense and Federal agencies. In his new role, he will identify and capture strategic business opportunities throughout the Defense and Special Operations communities. Callaghan will also focus on increasing the company's Department of Homeland Security (DHS) business by leveraging several large DHS prime contracts recently awarded to MacB.

About Bill Callaghan

Prior to joining MacB, Callaghan was Vice President of Business Development, Federal Markets for DLH Corporation. At DLH, he was responsible for the identification and qualification of strategic opportunities, which directly resulted in numerous major contract wins. Before DLH, Callaghan held senior level business development positions at Lockheed Martin and Honeywell International. He is a combat veteran, serving 25 years in the United States Army as a commissioned and non-commissioned officer, ultimately retiring as a Major. He spent much of his career supporting the Special Operations community and the XVIII Airborne Corps, including U.S. Army Special Operations Command, 75th Ranger Regiment, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) and the 82nd Airborne Division. Callaghan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Physics from Campbell University and graduate degrees in Security Management/Emergency Management from Webster University and in Higher Education Strategic Management from George Washington University.
