BOSTON, June 3, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Winthrop Realty Trust (NYSE:FUR) ("Winthrop") announced today that the special meeting of common shareholders at which it will seek approval of the plan of liquidation previously adopted by its Board of Trustees will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in New York City. Holders of record of its common shares of beneficial interest at the close of business on June 19, 2014 will be entitled to vote at the special meeting.
