SHARON, PA., June 13, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Award-Winning casual-dining concept Quaker Steak & Lube®, known for its Best Wings USA and over 25 signature sauces, will bring a new restaurant to League City, TX. The Lube® will open to the public Wednesday, June 18th at 11a.m. The restaurant will create close to 100 jobs for the area and will be the 4th Quaker Steak & Lube® location in Texas. The new Lube will be located at 2502 Gulf Freeway South.
The newly built League City Lube will encompass an 8,000 square-foot design while accommodating seating for over 350 people. The location also has 2 bars and an enclosed patio. HD flat-screen televisions will show all the biggest sports events and games throughout the restaurant.

In celebration of The Lube's® grand opening, the League City Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of Quaker Steak & Lube® at 10:45a.m. on June 18th. Commerce Ambassadors and city officials will be present, as well as representatives from The Lube®.
The first 100 guests will receive VIP cards and The Lube® will also have live music by the Anika Chambers Band from 4-10p.m. on opening day.
The League City Lube will feature appetizing menu selections and will hold supercharged events all week including, All-U-Can-Eat Catfish, All-U-Can-Eat Wings, Bike Nites, Kids Day, Lunch Buffet, Steak Night and Sunday Brunch.
For convenient to-go food, the League City Lube will have a Pick-Up Wingo Window® and the restaurant will be launching online ordering at www.lubewingstofly.com.
