OAKLAND, Calif., July 15, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Burnham Brown, a law firm that traces its roots back to 1899, today announced that it has opened new offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles, the two largest legal markets in California.

With the new offices, the firm now has four office locations (principal office is in Oakland, existing satellite office is in Reno, Nev.).
San Francisco
The new San Francisco office is located at 50 California Street, in the heart of the city's financial district, and the lead partner for the office is Robert Bodzin. The office will be regularly staffed by lawyers from the firm's Oakland office and will be used for mediations, depositions and client meetings. The San Francisco office will focus primarily on toxic tort, insurance and business litigation.
"This new San Francisco office capitalizes on the firm's longstanding relationships with clients in the city and provides dedicated space for our lawyers to practice in a convenient location when working on matters in the courtrooms and boardrooms of San Francisco," said Verber.
Los Angeles
The new Los Angeles office is located at 515 S. Flower Street, in the City National Plaza that is a 10-minute walk to the courthouse, and the lead partner is Cathy Arias. The firm has also hired a new associate attorney, Aneiko Hickerson, who will work full-time in Los Angeles. The office will initially focus on employment, insurance, retail and transportation industry clients.
