AS Tallinna Vesi’s net sales of the first half year of 2014 have increased by 1.9% to 26.68 million euros, compared to the same period last year. As the Company’s tariffs are frozen at the 2010 tariff level, changes in the revenues from the main activities are fully driven by consumption.
Despite the increase in sales revenues, the operating profit for the six months of 2014 has remained stable, decreasing by 0.2% to 11.87 million euros. The decline is mainly driven by the higher pollution tax expenses and legal expenses with regard to the tariff dispute.
The operational results of AS Tallinna Vesi continue to be at a very good level.
