TROY, Mich., July 28, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- New World Systems®, a premiere provider of public safety software, announced a new partnership with Intrado®, a leading provider of 9-1-1 technology solutions and a subsidiary of West Corporation, to equip Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) across the country with Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1)-ready solutions. The goal of this formal partnership is to help public safety agencies keep up with changing technology requirements, and improve emergency response for their citizens.
With this new alliance, development is underway to integrate NG9-1-1 data applications with New World's Aegis™ Suite of Public Safety Software. Once complete, this integration will allow PSAPs to handle text and media within New World's Aegis Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) software.
