Sales in the II quarter of 2014

AB “Utenos trikotažas” sales in the II quarter of 2014 reached LTL 11.9 million (EUR 3.4 million), i.e. were 12.1 % lower compared to the same period in 2013.

Consolidated sales by “Utenos trikotažas” group in the II quarter of 2014 reached LTL 15.6 million (EUR 4.5 million), i.e. were 4.2 % lower compared to the same period in 2013. 

AB „Utenos trikotažas“ sales in the first half of 2014 amounted to LTL 23.7 million (EUR 6.8 million), i.e. were 16.1 % lower compared to the same period in 2013.

Consolidated sales by “Utenos trikotažas” group in the first half of 2014 reached LTL 30.7 million (EUR 8.9 million), i.e. were 9.3 % lower compared to the same period in 2013. 

„While implementing the Company‘s strategy, having rejected certain orders, as well as striving for the development of innovative materials and higher profitability contracts, we forecasted lower sales in the first half of this year compared to the previous year. However, the new strategy should ensure a higher operating profitability,“ says Gintautas Bareika, the Managing Director of „Utenos trikotažas“.

In the first quarter of 2014 AB “Utenos trikotažas” group gained LTL 0.6 million (EUR 0.2 million) profit, while in the same period of 2013 its loss amounted to LTL 0.8 million (EUR 0.2 million). Besides, in the first quarter of 2014 AB “Utenos trikotažas” gained LTL 0.2 million (EUR 0.1 million) profit, while in the same period of 2013 its loss amounted to LTL 1.2 million (EUR 0.4 million)
