(Nasdaq:WIX), a leading global web development platform, announced the opening of its new San Francisco office, which also includes the new Wix Developers Lounge. Already home to over 100 employees from Wix' support, business development and marketing teams, the San Francisco office recently moved into a 34,000 sq., ft space at 500 Terry A Francois Blvd in Mission Bay to prepare for further growth of the local team.
Part of the new office is designated for the Wix Developers Lounge, a completely free co-working and event space supporting local startups and independent web developers.
With a free six months membership program the Lounge's goal is to become a home for tech innovators working on technological solutions for small businesses.

The SF Lounge will launch with a 24 hour code lab where teams of developers, entrepreneurs, small businesses, marketers and designers will collaborate to create web apps that address the needs of local businesses. The event will kick off on Friday, September 19th with a networking party, leading directly into the CodeLocal Code Lab. The code lab will include education, mentoring, great food, gifts and giveaways and speakers from Wix.com and Shopify. All teams that complete the 24-hour CodeLocal event will be eligible for 6-months of free access to the new Wix Lounge.
