Fiskars appoints Teemu Kangas-Kärki as COO and CFO

Teemu Kangas-Kärki, currently President of Fiskars’ Home business area, has been appointed as the Group’s Chief Operating and Financial Officer (COO and CFO) as of immediately. In conjunction with this, he becomes deputy to the CEO and a member of the Group’s Executive Board. Teemu Kangas-Kärki worked as Fiskars Group’s CFO from 2008 to 2012.

The role of Chief Operating Officer is new within Fiskars. In addition to his responsibilities over the company’s financial operations as CFO, Teemu Kangas-Kärki will also be in charge of strategic alignment and prioritization across the company. Furthermore, he will lead the planning of the group’s proposed structural changes together with the CEO. Fiskars announced today plans to dissolve the current business areas, Home and Garden, and create new business region structures. In the meantime, Teemu Kangas-Kärki will also continue to lead the Home business area.
