Barry Wolf joins SterlingRisk Aviation Division as Executive Vice President


WOODBURY, N.Y., Oct. 1, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SterlingRisk, a leading national insurance brokerage, announces Barry Wolf has joined the organization as Executive Vice President (EVP). Mr. Wolf will be responsible for developing our Aircraft Leasing/Financing and Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) insurance portfolio. He will oversee new business account strategy as well as portfolio management with key carrier partners. In addition, Mr. Wolf will work closely with our existing Aviation and commercial lines teams.

Mr. Wolf joins SterlingRisk with over 32 years of insurance risk management experience in commercial aviation. Prior to joining SterlingRisk, Mr. Wolf was the Insurance Risk Manager for International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), the world's second largest commercial aircraft leasing company. He was responsible for revising the insurance program while restructuring the staff to create substantial efficiencies and savings. Prior to ILFC, Mr. Wolf held the position of an aviation insurance broker specializing in large aviation accounts for commercial aircraft leasing companies, commercial heavy maintenance and overhaul, and aircraft and engine parts resellers. Mr. Wolf began his aviation carrier in Miami, Florida in 1982 with International Air Leases, Inc. and Arrow Air, Inc and held the position of Risk Manager for the Batchelor Group of Companies.
