ePlus Technology Achieves Five Cisco Recertifications

HERNDON, Va., Oct. 2, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ePlus inc. (Nasdaq:PLUS) today announced that its subsidiary, ePlus Technology, inc., has successfully completed a Cisco audit and received five re-certifications:

  • Cisco Gold Partner
  • Cisco Master Collaboration Specialization
  • Cisco Master Security Specialization
  • Cisco Master Cloud Builder Specialization
  • Cisco Cloud and Managed Services Master Partner

The results of the audit illustrate ePlus' ability to meet rigorous standards set forth by Cisco in networking competency, service, support, and customer satisfaction. These designations acknowledge ePlus as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy, and support highly-sophisticated Cisco collaboration and security solutions as well as cloud-ready integrated infrastructures. ePlus is also recognized for its ability to sell and deliver cloud and managed services.

"We are proud to complete this significant achievement again this year, adding a fifth recertification to the list," said Jerry McIntosh, vice president of advanced technology solutions for ePlus Technology. "The audit results are a testament to our best practices approach across multiple Cisco solutions—for key technology and services our customers demand. We look forward to continuing to provide an exceptional customer experience to help organizations enhance collaboration, improve their security posture, adopt an agile cloud strategy, and proactively control their infrastructure."

"We are committed to providing the tools, training and programs that facilitate partner growth, differentiation, and profitability," said Edison Peres, senior vice president of worldwide channels at Cisco. "With Cisco Master Specializations in Collaboration, Security, Cloud Builder, and Managed Services, ePlus ranks among an elite group of channel partners with the resources to deliver the integrated and customized technology solutions that today's customers demand."

As a Cisco Gold Partner, ePlus has met the requirements for attaining the broadest range of expertise across multiple technologies by achieving Cisco advanced specializations in unified communications, routing and switching, security, and wireless LAN. In addition, ePlus has integrated Cisco Lifecycle Services into its offerings and is required to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

To achieve the Master Collaboration and Security Specializations, partners must first attain the Cisco Advanced Collaboration and Security Specializations. Partners must then meet stringent requirements that demonstrate their Master-level sales, technical, and services capabilities. Furthermore, Master specialized partners must possess a number of Cisco and industry-standard technical certification requirements, provide customer references that document Cisco-prescribed design and deployment capabilities, and show evidence that they have the infrastructure to support a full menu of Lifecycle Services offerings and capabilities.

The Cisco Master Cloud Builder Specialization is granted to a specific group of partners that possess in-depth technology and architecture skills. These partners also have demonstrated customer success in providing sophisticated, value-added Cisco Data Center and Cloud solutions including sales, deployment, and services for Cisco data center and cloud solutions.

The Cisco Master Service Provider Certification is part of the Cisco Cloud and Managed Services Program, focused on helping partners such as ePlus to envision, build, market, and sell cloud and managed services with business acceleration tools and services, sales training, and the Cisco Cloud Marketplace to address the varied needs of its customers.

ePlus is a Cisco Gold Certified Partner with Cisco Master Specializations in Security, Collaboration, Cloud Builder, and Managed Services. ePlus has Cisco Powered designations in Managed Unified Communications, Managed Business Security, and Managed Security Services.
