NEW Samurai Discovery

This NEW 7-day Samurai Discovery trip takes guests to Tokyo, Mt. Fuji and Kyoto and combines sightseeing to suit the entire family with some fun activities for the kids included too! Beginning with three nights in the capital of Japan, guests will visit the grounds of the Imperial Palace, located in the heart of Tokyo. Later, they will visit the famous Ginza district to partake in a Local Specialty with a hands-on sushi making class and after exploring Ginza; guests will head to the man-made island of Obaida to visit Sega Joypolis, an indoor amusement park in the centre of Tokyo. For their last day in Tokyo, guests will have fun during a Taiko Drumming lesson, an ancient form of percussion that uses large drums and a dynamic playing style. On the way to Kyoto, guests will visit the beautiful Five Lakes District to take in the impressive views at 2300 meters above sea level. It's almost close enough to grab the summit of Mt. Fuji! Later, guests will be treated a Be My Guest dining experience at a preserved Machiya townhouse and children will enjoy Japanese calligraphy lessons. On the last day of the journey, guests will begin their day by taking a traditional wooden Trokko train ride to Arashiyama and take in the beautiful scenery as it winds its way through the mountains and along the Hozugawa River. A visit to Toei Kyoto Studio Park will activate one's inner ninja as the studio doubles as a theme park. Children will love dressing up as samurai and everyone will enjoy live ninja performances with extravagant sword fights.

Gladiators, Gondolas and Gold

Families spend three nights each in three diverse cities as they explore Rome's savagery, Venice's decadence and Florence's romance in the 11-day Gladiators, Gondolas and Gold itinerary.  Beginning their journey in Rome, families will enjoy a guided visit of the Vatican Museums, explore St. Peter's Basilica and tour the Colosseum. An experience to remember forever will be a Unique Insight into the life of a Roman gladiator where families will learn the basics of gladiatorial sword fighting and in the evening families will partake in an authentic Italian pizza cooking demonstration. Travelling to Florence, a visit to Michelangelo's statue of David and indulging in gelato in the city where it was invented are both on the to-do list. Guests will also visit one of the most famous sights in the world - the Leaning Tower of Pisa and in the evening, enjoy a special Be My Guest dining experience in a Tuscan Villa situated on an olive-oil estate. Continuing north to Venice, a cruise by private launch to St. Mark's Square, a glassblowing demonstration and a serene ride on a gondola will surely be unforgettable for the entire family. 

Monkeys, Jungles and Volcanoes

This fantastic 8-day adventure lets families get up close and personal with turtles, monkeys, butterflies and more as they explore the magnificent tropical rainforests on this guided holiday of Costa Rica. The trip starts off in the colourful Tortuguero National Park, where they will mingle amongst exotic rainforest animals and also meet local schoolchildren as they learn their lessons. On the journey from Tortuguero to Arenal, guests will stop off at both a palm plantation and pineapple farm to taste the local specialties and learn all about the farming process. At Arsenal National Park, guests will start their day with a guided trek around lava rocks as they learn about the powerful forces behind the volcano's past eruptions and later, relax in the thermal springs. In Manuel Antonio, the adventure continues as families can fly along ziplines through the treetops, laze in the warm Pacific, or choose to snorkel, surf or enjoy a catamaran cruise, the options are endless on this Monkeys, Jungles and Volcanoes itinerary.
