Button Integrates with Uber to Power DeepLink Commerce

Button launches its DeepLink Commerce Platform by connecting Resy and Uber.

NEW YORK, N.Y., Nov. 3, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Button announces its new partnership with Uber to integrate a first-of-its-kind technology with Button's proprietary DeepLink Commerce product. Launched with Uber as its first partner utilizing this new feature Button will provide apps the opportunity to seamlessly integrate the Uber API functionality while providing support and expertise on creating the best mobile experiences.

Button's first integration leveraging the new DeepLink Commerce technology will be connecting Uber with Resy, the popular NYC based restaurant-booking service.

Button's technology automatically pulls contextually relevant information from the Resy app sending traffic intelligently from one app experience to another. This proprietary technology delivers an exceptional experience when onboarding new users and moving them from one app to another. The technology is housed through an easily embeddable SDK for mobile developers, which integrates seamlessly with Uber's API Platform.

If the user does not have the receiving app installed, it will allow the user to install it and then seamlessly complete the cross-app action. For example, a Resy user who makes a reservation for dinner will receive a prompt, based on a collection of data points, with an alert that asks the user if they would like to get a ride with "Uber" to the restaurant.

"The beauty of our technology is that we're building delightful product extensions that are relevant day in and day out to consumers everywhere," said Mike Jaconi, Co-founder and CEO of Button. "By focusing on the on-demand economy, we help connect consumers from a variety of channels to the companies that solve daily problems - whether it is connecting people reading recipes with a grocery delivery service, connecting commuters with Uber when they arrive in a city, or helping people who have a date night find a babysitter or a dinner reservation."

Button's goal is to drive growth, adoption, and awareness of Uber and other companies in the On-Demand Economy through making it easier for big brands and consumers everywhere to access the fastest growing segment of the mobile economy. The Button Platform provides 3 core services: DeepLink Commerce for new user acquisition and existing user activation, Loyalty, and Analytics. In time, the company plans to connect the mobile economy in much the same way the web is linked together today.
