PSI Wins $250M BPA to Provide IT Management Services for Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC)


ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 4, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI) — a leading provider of enterprise IT solutions — today announced that it has been awarded a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to provide information technology services to support interoperability between state and federal agencies in order to better serve service members, veterans, and their families across the globe. The BPA has a one-year base period of performance and two one-year options with a ceiling of $250M.

The DMDC maintains the largest, most comprehensive central repository for identifying, authenticating, authorizing, and providing information on personnel during and after their affiliation with the Department of Defense (DoD). Under this contract, PSI and its team members, MicroHealth, Cognosante Inc., Favor TechConsulting, 8 Consulting, Excel Technologies, and Altarum Institute, will compete for call orders to provide a wide range of services that form the foundation for information sharing and interoperability throughout the Department of Defense (DoD). Specifically, support will include: Project Management, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Support, Quality Assurance (QA), Systems Integration, Network Administration, and Data and Information Management.
