NEW YORK, Nov. 21, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Rosen Law Firm announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed against Takata Corporation, TJ Holdings, Highland Industries (collectively "Takata") and Honda Motor Company resulting from the recall of vehicles because of allegedly defective airbags manufactured by Takata.

According to the lawsuit Takata and Honda were aware of the defects in Takata-manufactured airbags but concealed them from consumers. The lawsuit claims that the airbags have caused numerous injuries and fatalities. The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration estimates that approximately 7.8 million vehicles are potentially affected by Takata-manufactured airbags. In addition to Honda, the Takata-manufactured airbags have been reportedly installed in vehicles manufactured by Toyota, Mazda, BMW, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Chrysler, Ford and General Motors. A list of the recalled vehicles may be found here: http://www.rosenlegal.com/newsroom-77.html.
