GLOBALG.A.P. provides standards for food safety, sustainable production methods, worker and animal welfare, and responsible use of water, compound feed and plant propagation materials. It provides a comprehensive, independent certification system for good agricultural practices (G.A.P.). Epicore was certified under the compound feed provisions of GLOBALG.A.P. The certification is based on HACCP principles (hazard analysis and critical control points).
Epicore's compound feed quality system was developed with the help of Change Management Consulting Inc., Wayne, NJ and was certified by SGS Australia PTY Ltd., who is accredited by JAS-ANZ.
