Online For Life Leads Technology-Driven Movement to End Abortion

DALLAS, Dec. 16, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As the March for Life approaches in January in Washington D.C., thousands are gearing up for the nation's biggest pro-life demonstration of the year in connection with Roe v. Wade in 1973. Online for Life has been preparing the world all year long. Thriving in online outreach and using the internet as a tool, Online for Life has quickly become one of the most predominate, technology-driven, non-profit organizations on social media.

Online for Life's Facebook following has doubled in the past year, eclipsing 500,000 likes and they saw a 91% since 2013. The organization received an average of 696 new page likes a day in 2014 and have a daily average of 23,000 likes, shares, or comments.

"Our Facebook community of over 500,000 is one of the largest and most active pro-life social media communities in the world," said Fisher "our daily posts challenge the user with thought-provoking quotes, powerful images, and emotional stories."

Engaging abortion-minded women on social media has led to a heightened increase in the number of babies saved. Fisher explains, "One woman messaged and told us she was sitting inside the abortion clinic about to take the life of her baby.  As she was sitting in the waiting room, the Online for Life messages and images kept coming to her mind, and she ran out of the clinic and chose life."

This exemplifies the tools that Online for Life focuses on to engage their audience and not only save babies but families as well. Online for Life is leading the new social media movement to help aide the efforts to end abortion in America.

Brian Fisher is the CEO and Founder of Online for Life, a successful business man, and the author of four books, including the January 2015 release of "Deliver Us From Abortion: Awakening the Church to End the Killing of America's Children."
