Signals next phase of expansion with hospitals and healthcare providers to improve the quality of patient care, reduce costs, and maximize reimbursement.

PHILADELPHIA and SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 17, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Dabo Health today announced that Robert V. Stanek is the company's new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Camilo Barcenas who will now serve as Founder and Chief Development Officer. In addition, the company is establishing an East Coast office in Philadelphia, Pa., with the design and engineering team remaining in San Francisco, Calif.

"The Dabo platform is built around the needs of the healthcare provider," said Mr. Barcenas. "We have had tremendous success to date--engaging 300+ hospitals throughout the United States. I couldn't be more excited to work with Bob to further Dabo Health's mission and facilitate local, regional, and national performance improvement by delivering simplified, actionable data to frontline care providers."

Dabo Health is an innovative platform that uses a social media format to provide easy access to information and metrics that helps nurses, physicians, and front line staff have the information needed to improve quality of care. Dabo Health is currently completing a pilot project at Mayo Clinic. By providing healthcare providers with simple, streamlined and readily accessible information, Dabo Health provides care givers with a broad scope of quality data and networking opportunities to facilitate collaboration, adopt best practices, and ultimately improve quality of care. This improved quality will facilitate hospital compliance and maximize reimbursement in keeping with requirements of the Affordable Care Act.

"Dabo Health has developed a highly innovative and differentiated online and mobile visualization platform for providers and payers to make key performance metrics accessible and actionable, while identifying best practices to improve care quality and reduce costs," said Mr. Stanek. "In my experience, when you empower the hands-on healthcare provider--a physician or a nurse--you have the opportunity to derive the best possible outcome for the patient. Dabo Health was founded by a visionary whose background has been predicated around improving patient care by implementing innovation solutions. I look forward to building on my many years of service within the healthcare community, and to introducing this innovative platform to hospitals, health systems and payors to help them implement a system that will ensure the best quality of care for their patients."
