The American Safe Truck Driver Award is presented to 3 qualified professional truck drivers who met the eligibility requirements during the 12 month period. Requirements include but are not limited to: no moving violations or unsafe operating violations, no accidents on record, and no at fault open accident claims.
The First Place Prize of $1000 is awarded to Thomas Kerns of Baycliff, Texas. Some driver safety advice from the winner, "Pay attention to what you're doing and don't tailgate!" Thomas is an owner/operator hauling for Frontier Transport NALP, and has been a customer of American Truck Group, LLC since October of 2010.
The Second Place Prize of $250 is awarded to Kevin Glass of New York, New York. Kevin is an owner/operator hauling for Solomax.
The Third Place Prize of $100 is awarded to George Blake of Laredo, TX. George is an owner/operator leased to M.S.A. Inc.
