NORWOOD, Mass., Feb. 5, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Xcerra Corporation (Nasdaq:XCRA), today announced the acquisition of substantially all of the assets and certain liabilities of Titan Semiconductor Tool, LLC ("Titan"), effective as of February 2, 2015. Titan develops, manufactures and sells innovative products for semiconductor test serving the automotive, RF/Wireless, and mixed signal test markets. Titan's patented technology includes a product line of contactors that minimize the distance between the device-under-test and the test interface board. The result is an almost transparent electrical interconnect. The acquired products will be developed, supported, and marketed by Xcerra's Multitest interface products group. Titan's technology will complement the Company's existing suite of interface product offerings. Terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
