Perk International Inc. Wholly Owned Subsidiary TECH9 Inc. Awarded Contract to Supply and Develop Medical Clinic Digital Poster Platform for IDS Canada Inc.

TORONTO, March 12, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Perk International Inc. (OTCBB:PRKI) wholly owned subsidiary TECH9 Inc., announced today that they have been awarded the contract by IDS (Information Display Systems) Canada Inc. to develop, supply, and deliver a complete turnkey digital poster solution for Canadian medical clinic waiting rooms.

TECH9 Inc. has successfully installed and managed scores of DOOH (digital out of home) networks throughout North America for healthcare, automotive, financial and retail organizations.

IDS is the leader in point-of-care healthcare and wellness information in Canada, providing literature, posters and sampling programs to over 1700 family physician waiting rooms, and 6000 doctors, in all ten provinces.

Matthew J O'Brien, CTO states, "Having IDS select us for this unique deployment is a testament to our multi-layered technical approach. Our commercial grade hardware solution, together with our management system, ensures maximum uptime. Our monitoring practices will allow IDS to be confident that their message is being seen on a daily basis."

"Our experience in the North American healthcare market is unparalleled from a deliverables perspective," claims Robert J Oswald, CEO. "TECH9 Inc. has been involved in turnkey "Waiting Room" installations for Audiology, Optometry and Primary Care clinics for many years. The sheer size of this opportunity with IDS and their 1700 clinics will see us collectively re-invent the waiting room experience."

"We have rigorously researched the market viability for a new platform and the TECH9 team has the credentials and experience to deliver what IDS needs in order to properly and professionally serve the medical clinics in our network," said IDS Canada President Paul Whitehead. "The complete IDS Canada DOOH (digital out of home) process involves TV, media player, installation, content management software and ongoing remote network management under TECH9's SLA (service level agreement). We were definitely looking for a partner who could handle all aspects of this significant launch."
