Absolute Process Partners Adds New Member EG A/S, Announces First Customer

ATLANTA, March 16, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MICROSOFT CONVERGENCE – Edgewater Fullscope, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Edgewater Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:EDGW) and one of the founding members of Absolute Process Partners (APP), announced the addition of EG A/S to the global partnership and provided details about the group's first customer.

Absolute Process Partners was formed last year as a strategic partnership to offer global sales and implementation services to process manufacturers with international deployment needs. Original members include Edgewater Fullscope, Edan Business Solutions in Belgium, KCS.net in Germany and Sable Systems in Australia.

EG A/S has joined the group and will provide sales and services to global process manufacturers with facilities in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Together, the companies cover 16 countries across three continents and offer the largest consolidation of Microsoft Dynamics AX consulting expertise and industry functionality for global deployments by food, chemical and pharmaceutical companies. Absolute Process Partners expects to announce a UK partner at the Microsoft World Partner Conference in July.

"Part of our strategy is to grow this partnership by finding and adding the best Microsoft Dynamics AX partners with process manufacturing experience," said John Scandar, senior vice president of Edgewater Fullscope. "EG is one of the best at what they do, plus they bring their own proprietary process software to help strengthen the group's offering to our clients. Absolute Process Partners has been well received by Microsoft as a global industry value-added reseller, as well as by global process manufacturers."

Kim Wolters, vice president of EG, commented: "Our strategy in EG is deep industry focus, which Microsoft Denmark has recognized by awarding EG the Vertical Partner of the Year for the last two years. With our packaged solutions for Process Industries based on Dynamics AX, we are rapidly growing market share in Scandinavian countries, and APP is a strong alliance to help our international clients with local, highly skilled consultants who know this industry."

Absolute Process Partners also announced its first customer—a European life sciences company with molecular diagnostic solutions that are used in a wide variety of healthcare settings to provide rapid, high-quality care to patients. The company recently announced an initiative for accurate and fast diagnosis of Ebola.

"Our partner ecosystem is the engine of our efforts to deliver innovation to customers around the world," said Neil Holloway, corporate vice president, sales for Microsoft Dynamics. "Absolute Process Partners brings together the expertise and experience that will help bring value to process manufacturers. It's encouraging to see the growth of this important group and the early impact they are having on the market."
