WOODLAND PARK, N.J., March 26, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Spring Veterans Career Expo at Berkeley College in Woodland Park, NJ, on Friday, April 17, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm is open to all members of the military, veterans and their families. This is an opportunity for veterans to meet representatives from up to 50 employers, apply for positions, and further their potential to secure employment through workshops designed to help them get ahead.
The event is co-hosted with Be A Hero – Hire A Hero, an initiative that focuses on assisting veterans with transitioning to civilian life through an established network of professional, corporate, educational and military organizations. For those who sign up and arrive early, there will be an added attraction – a photo op with former NY Giants player Kareem McKenzie scheduled at approximately 9:45 a.m.
There is no cost to attend, but registration is strongly encouraged. Those who register will have more immediate access to job requisitions, and increase their opportunities to schedule interviews with the employers at the event.
