(Nasdaq:ISSI), a leader in advanced memory solutions, today announced sampling of a Multi-Chip Package (MCP) with 512Mb LPDDR2 DRAM and 1.8V 128Mb QSPI Flash. ISSI's MCP solution enables the miniaturization of feature-rich, low-power applications through the combination of high-performance LPDDR2 DRAM and Serial NOR Flash into a small and consistent footprint.

ISSI's MCP solution, IS71LD32160WP128, will also be available in an automotive grade version, IS72LD32160WP128. The DRAM is a 512Mb LPDDR2 with 1.2V/1.8V supply that can run up to 533MHz (1066Mbps throughput). The Flash is a 128Mb SPI DTR with 1.8V supply that is capable of 532Mbps of throughput in Quad I/O DTR mode. The package is an industry standard 168-ball PoP BGA with the addition of a Flash interface. The DRAM and Flash are also available from ISSI as discrete products. The DRAM part number is IS43LD32160A (IS46LD32160A for automotive), and the Flash part number is IS25WP128. ISSI currently offers LPDDR2 at 256Mb, 512Mb and 1Gb, with LPDDR3 to be available later in 2015.
