Alliqua BioMedical, Inc. Announces Proposed Public Offering of Common Stock


LANGHORNE, Pa., April 28, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alliqua BioMedical, Inc. (Nasdaq:ALQA) ("Alliqua" or "the Company"), a provider of advanced wound care products, today announced that it intends to offer and sell, subject to market and other conditions, shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. Alliqua also expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase additional shares of its common stock to cover overallotments, if any.

Cowen and Company, LLC and RBC Capital Markets, LLC are acting as the joint book-running managers for the offering, and Craig-Hallum Capital Group LLC is acting as co-manager. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to fund the commercial expansion of its marketed products, to pursue additional product platforms, and for working capital and general corporate purposes.
