Insight Awarded National Institutes of Health Contract

Insight to Support U.S. Federal Agencies as Medical Systems Increasingly Integrate With Technology Infrastructure


TEMPE, Ariz., May 8, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Insight Public Sector has been awarded a contract as part of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) $20 billion Chief Information Officer-Commodities and Solutions (CIO-CS) Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC).

This contract was awarded by the NIH's Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center. As a CIO-CS contractor, Insight will support the full range of IT needs among all Federal Government agencies. The CIO-CS contract is open to all Federal agencies and will provide an efficient and cost competitive vehicle for IT acquisition. NIH developed this contract with an emphasis on cloud and managed services and support for health and biomedical IT. Insight brings expertise to support clinical and biological research, with hardware, software and data center solutions that are necessary to support this important healthcare work.
