EAST CHICAGO, Ind., May 15, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Pinnacle Entertainment today announced the opening of Stadium Sports Bar & Grill at Ameristar East Chicago. The opening ceremony was action packed with Andre Dawson and Carlton Fisk, National Baseball Hall of Famers, throwing a ceremonial "first-pitch" and giving opening remarks along with Anthony Copeland, Mayor of East Chicago and Matt Schuffert, Ameristar East Chicago Vice President and General Manager.

Stadium celebrates Chicagoland sports with memorabilia from the White Sox, Cubs, Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks and Indiana collegiate teams. Surrounded by fond memories of legendary Chicago players, guests can follow scores for their favorite teams on the state-of-the-art sports ticker located above the Jumbotron and two 90-inch TVs. With 40 HDTVs, sports fans won't miss a game at Stadium and through Hearing Hotspot technology they can stream the audio of any game through their mobile device. Stadium represents a significant investment for Ameristar East Chicago of nearly $3.5 million dollars. The opening of the restaurant also created 55 permanent jobs.
