Tumbleweed Holdings, Inc. Adds Leading Expert to Its Board of Advisors


NEW YORK, May 18, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tumbleweed Holdings, Inc. (OTC:DCDC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Dale to its Board of Advisors to assist in developing breakthrough solutions in cannabis technology and laboratory testing solutions.

Mr. Dale is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the Center for Advanced Forensics in Greenville, NC. Mr. Dale retired from the New York State Police after 30 years of service as a law enforcement officer where he was the Director (Inspector in Charge) of the New York State Police Laboratory System. After leaving the NYSP he also served as laboratory director at both the Washington State Laboratory System and the New York City Police Department Laboratory.

Additionally, Mr. Dale was the Program Manager for Forensic Education and Training at the U. S. Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory (USACIL). Prior to that, he founded and served as the director of the Northeast Regional Forensics Institute (NERFI) at the University at Albany, State University of New York. NERFI was a ground-breaking program providing graduate level workforce development (Forensic DNA academies) education primarily in forensic biology.

He has also been the President of the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors (Emeritus Member), Chairman on the New York State Crime Laboratory Advisory Committee and member of the New York State Commission on Forensic Science.  Mr. Dale received his MBA from the University at Albany, as well as a BA in Biology from Florida State University.  He is an ASCLD/LAB Legacy and International ISO/IEC 17025 trained auditor, American Society of Quality certified Green Belt Six Sigma and ASQ Certified Quality Auditor. Mr. Dale is the author of a recently published book, "Forensic Laboratory Management: Applying Business Principles" Dale & Becker, 2014, CRC press.
