CLEARWATER, Fla., June 18, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tech Data Corporation (Nasdaq:TECD) announced the introduction of several new solutions and services to its portfolio at the company's annual Channel Link conference, being held this week in Dallas, Texas. With more than 500 attendees, the event is Tech Data's largest annual event for solution providers in the United States. The strategic new offerings provide channel partners with new cloud opportunities and other services to enhance their businesses across multiple verticals. TDCloud Launches Globally

Tech Data announced the official global launch of TDCloud, powered by StreamOne™, the company's end-to-end provisioning, billing, and marketing engine providing scale and operational scope to solution providers. The award-winning Tech Data Cloud Solutions Store will now be available to partners in Canada, France and the UK, and will be introduced across Europe in a phased introduction over the coming weeks. Through the Solutions Store, solution providers and managed service providers (MSPs) can administer and control the entire cloud services delivery process in an app store-like environment, as well as fully support Microsoft's Cloud Solution Provider program. Solution providers can now provision, manage, and support Microsoft cloud products and services such as Office 365 and Azure, simply and easily.

Microsoft Surface Hub Available July 1

The Microsoft Surface Hub, a powerful team collaboration device designed to advance the way people work together naturally, will soon be available to solution providers in the United States and Europe through Tech Data. Surface Hub delivers the power and versatility of a complete, cloud-connected Windows 10 device with the versatility of a custom interface that is built for shared spaces. It provides a more productive work environment for businesses across multiple verticals and a more inclusive environment for remote participants. The dedicated Microsoft Surface team at Tech Data can provide customized marketing programs, A/V solutions and robust enablement platforms for authorized Hub resellers.

Enhanced Cisco Build-to-Order (BTO) capabilities

Tech Data's dedicated Cisco team is offering enhanced value-added services and capabilities to its Unified Computing Systems (UCS), including increased systems engineering support, quicker route-to-market, and pre-integrated and customizable BTO configurations. As a recognized Cisco-authorized distributor for the Dynamic (shiploadable) rack, Tech Data's expanded BTO capabilities allow the company to fully integrate complete infrastructure solutions prior to shipping—including rack, stack and cable.
