BOSTON, June 18, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Winthrop Realty Trust (NYSE:FUR) ("Winthrop") announced it has notified the trustee of its outstanding 7.75% Senior Notes due 2022 (the "Senior Notes") that it will redeem the Senior Notes in full effective August 15, 2015 to holders of record on July 24, 2015. The aggregate redemption price payable on such date is $72,635,081.42 (or $25.484375 per $25.00 face amount Senior Note) which represents the face amount of the Senior Notes outstanding (less Senior Notes held by Winthrop) plus accrued and unpaid interest thereon to, but not including, the redemption date. The redemption price will be paid on August 17, 2015, the first business day following the redemption date in accordance with the indenture governing the Senior Notes.
