The new restaurant, located at 9540 FM 1960 Bypass Road West between Townsen Boulevard and Whitaker Road, is the fourth location in Houston and 13th in the state of Texas for the brand.

The 2,900 square-foot Humble El Pollo Loco restaurant has seating for 72 guests in the dining room and incorporates the brand's hacienda design which features an open kitchen layout designed for customers to view the signature chicken as it is being grilled. The restaurant is open seven days a week from 10:00AM – 11:00 PM, with dine-in service concluding one hour prior to closing.
