Maitland Vision Center Announces Addition of New Optical Department to Its Practice

MAITLAND, Fla., July 5, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dr. Ryan Schott of Maitland Vision Center, in Maitland, Fla., announced the addition of a new optical department for the practice. This new optical department offers 400 frames, accommodating a wide range of vision needs. Frames are available for single vision glasses, high index progressive lenses and even prescription sunglasses. The clinic is bringing in a new optician, Scott Schilling, for the department too. Dr. Schott expresses supreme confidence in Scott Schilling and the positive impact he will have on the new department and on the practice as a whole.

Dr. Schott believes that the addition of the new optical department will help solidify the role of Maitland Vision Center as a leader in vision health in Maitland and Orlando, Fla., as well as throughout the surrounding area. "The new optical department means that patients can have all their vision needs met in one convenient location," says Dr. Schott. "Customers can see the frames, try them on, see how they look and feel and determine whether they like them, in the comfort of our offices."

The new optical department offers a wide range of frames to fit the varying needs of Central Florida residents. "This includes single vision frames as well as those that are suitable for specialty needs such as progressive lenses and prescription sunglasses that are almost a necessity for all eyeglass wearers in the area," says Dr. Schott.

This announcement also brings with it news of another addition to the Maitland Vision Center family. This addition happens to be a new optician, Scott Schilling, who will work in the new optical department. Scott Schilling is excited about the new opportunity, saying, "I'm thrilled to be joining the Maitland Vision Center family and look forward to assisting existing patients and new patients alike with their eye care and eye wear needs."

"Maitland Vision Center has committed itself to providing the best possible eye care and service to our patients. That is something that hasn't changed over the years," says Dr. Schott, "and something we're only planning to improve on in the future."

One way they do this is by adding convenience and service in the form of the new optical department. Other ways they do this is by making a commitment to adopting the latest technologies that improve their diagnostic procedures. This allows them to make accurate diagnosis faster than other eye care facilities.
