SALT LAKE CITY, July 7, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SelectHealth is pleased to announce the release of a new mobile app available on Apple and Google Play stores. The app will simplify the way members access information about their health plan.
Members can log in to the app to view benefits and claims information and search for doctors and hospitals. They can check their year-to-date totals for deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums; look up pharmacies and medications; and view, email, or fax images of their ID Card to providers.
"We are continually making efforts to improve the healthcare experience for our members," says Christopher Stallings, SelectHealth eBusiness manager. "We're striving to bring our services and resources to the customer. This is one way we can do that."
Some of the features of the app are also available to those who do not log in. For example, any user can search for participating and nonparticipating hospitals, providers, and clinics.
The new app promises to offer future updates that will continue to streamline the way members use their health plan.
